Amanda over a RunToTheFinish has a great challenge for the fall. I signed up for the 5k. I will be dual training - trying to PR in the 5k and training for the Rocket City Marathon. Should be an exciting fall. FUN!

I will have to check out Amanda's blog...I don't think I saw that post. Maybe I could do the same thing as you...run a flat and fast 5K and try like hell to PR:) Your comment on my blog made me laugh. I was really wanting to stay with my daughter because it was the first one for her this year. Turns out she wanted me to let her fly solo and for me to run faster for myself:) Maybe at the end of the season we both can PR!
Love the blog. Thx for your comment over at my corner. I love the STG marathon. I have run it 3 times, 2 times being a BQ. Angels Landing was so fun. The last part was super intense but worth it. I hope to run Rocket City in dec as well. Good luck to you.
