St. George Marathon heading to Utah

Ok, the weight has been lost, I dropped 11 lbs., and have been eating really healthy all summer.  The training is complete.  Started June, this is the 15th week and I have 533 miles banked for this marathon.  I hit a new weekly high of 63 miles this time (previously 50 miles was my max).  This past month, in addition to the running, I did a month of unlimited yoga which was 21 classes of yoga.  Prior to the unlimited yoga I was lifting weights, doing squats, lunges, push-ups.  I have continued to work the core the whole time.  drink my water, get to bed early, drink my protein recovery drinks, drink my green tea, stretch a little, I have done hill repeats, up hill repeats, down hill repeats, hills, hills, mostly hills, I have done tempo runs, track workouts, mile repeats, Yasso's 800s, yesterday 400s,  the last few weeks I've been working on the mental part - need to finish the race strong this time.  Whhewww!  That's a lot and there may be more that I have forgotten to list, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it.  What can I say, I love to train, I love trying to figure out the marathon and marathon training.  After 14 marathons it intrigues me more each time.

Mailed my entry to The Huntsville, AL marathon in Dec. and First Light in Mobile, AL in Jan., today.
But first, I am ready to RACE in UTAH!
Will be flying out early Thurs. morning.

So I have been asking everyone to pick a mile, 18-25 to send me good thoughts during the St. George Marathon this Sat. Oct 3rd. I want my friends to help me get to the finish.

Meg - normally no, but depending on my recovery from SGM, I am considering running the 3in3 in AL. 3 marathons in 3 months - Dec., Jan., Feb. Will see, but definitely will not be racing these. For fun for a change. So enjoyed doing that at Tupelo. Tentative plans for sure.

Just wanted to send happy thoughts your way for the marathon... I thought I left a comment yesterday, but you know how that goes. Anyway... you've trained very hard! Looks like you've done everything right! I hope you have a great time, no pain and fast miles! And I hope you get to see a lot of Utah - it's beautiful!
